Vivo Y53s has launched in China as a successor of Vivo Y52 last year. This phone comes in a low-budget range that also brings 5G connectivity and Qualcomm Snapdragon 480Sc. The phone has a dual rear camera setup and a Selfie camera with a notch display. The phone has slim bezels on the sides and a thicker chin. Vivo Y53s 5G price for 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant is CNY 1,799 (20,500) and 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant price is CNY 1,999 (22,800). The phone comes in three different colors Iridescent, Sea salt, and Stary night color options. The phone is available in China for sale on JD.com and the company website in CNY 1,699 (19,400) for the base variant. Vivo Y53s 5G runs OriginOS 1.0 base on Android 11. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and notch. The smartphone has an unknown Qualcomm Snapdragon Sc but according to Nashville Chatter, the phone comes with Snapdragon 480. The phone offers 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

For pictures and videos, Vivo Y53s 5G comes in a dual rear camera setup, 64 megapixels of the primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens. Secondary sensor details are still unclear. On the front side, there is a selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The details of the selfie camera have not been shared but it is expected to come with an 8-megapixel camera.

In connectivity options, the phone has 5G, WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, USB type C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Onboard sensors have an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. There is a fingerprint scanner side mounted. Vivo Y53s has a 5000mAh battery which supports 18W of fast charging. The phone measures 163.95×75.3×8.5mm and 189g weight.
